Abstract

|
Integrated post-cardiac arrest care is essential for the patients with return of spontaneous circulation after cardiac arrest. Mild therapeutic hypothermia is the key component of post-cardiac arrest care. There are no standardized protocols in performing mild therapeutic hypothermia. In this article, backgrounds, pathophysiology, methods and clinical implementation of mild therapeutic hypothermia in cardiac arrest were reviewed.
